We would like to express our deepest condolences to the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011. Although some of the Nichii Group's offices also suffered damage, all employees are united in taking initiatives to assist with the rapid reconstruction of the disaster afflicted areas.

Thank you for the continued support and confidence you have shown the Nichii Group.
Faced with a declining birthrate and a growing population of elderly people, Japan's social security system, whose main structure was developed during the period of high economic growth, urgently needs to be reformed in a comprehensive manner to respond to significant changes in the fundamental social conditions.
To reform the social security system, the government is examining measures for developing a highly sustainable social security system based on the main pillars of equality between generations and mutual support by chiefly focusing on strengthening the service provision structure, bolstering child rearing support, and securing employment. In this environment, the Nichii Group has been developing business foundations that are able to respond to the reform of the system.
In the fiscal year ended March 2011, the Group achieved record net sales for the third consecutive year and higher income for the second consecutive year, reflecting the impact of the measures taken to expand the lineup of services that meet customers' needs and to secure new customers.
The Group expects to continue to achieve higher net sales and income for the fiscal year ending March 2012. It expects to increase its dividends for the third consecutive year to 16 yen per share.
The Nichii Group is fully committed to efforts to achieve stability, growth, profitability, and aspires to make a social contribution by using the characteristics of its businesses, each of which has strong connection to people's lives. While bolstering its corporate value to meet the expectations of its stakeholders, the Group will optimize its management resources to continue to help people achieve happier, healthier lives.
