Becoming a new, stronger Nichii through kindness to people

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support.

The Nichii Group was established in 1968, when its founder, Akihiko Terada, launched a medical administrative services business to enable busy physicians and nurses to devote themselves to medical care. We have since been striving to solve social issues by providing services that are indispensable to people's lives, such as long-term care and childcare services. We do this under our Philosophy, which states, "we are committed to helping people live healthy and vibrant lives." Today, we have evolved into a company that provides services for around 130,000 customers and 7,000 medical institutions. We owe this to the support of our stakeholders, and I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for this support.

On June 3, 2024, Nichii Group took a new step forward when it joined the Group, which has Nippon Life as its core company.

As 2025 approaches, the year when the postwar baby boomers will be at least 75 years old, Japan is already seeing problems emerge in relation to its super-aging society. We are facing the urgent task of addressing the issues that will begin to surface in 2040, including the rapid decline in the working-age population, the rapid increase in the number of people who need long-term care, the shortage of financial resources for social security, and the crisis regarding the sustainability of regional infrastructure.
In our efforts to solve these issues, we will further solidify our foundation of services that are essential for maintaining medical care, long-term care, and childcare, which are the functions of society. At the same time, we will address our customers with greater integrity, honor and passion than before to create a society in which everyone can live their lives with peace of mind, the goal of the Nippon Life Group, and we will strive to over-deliver on customer expectations in offering our services. The Nippon Life Group and Nichii will work as one to be a provider of "multidimensional peace of mind" and combine the strengths of the two companies to create new value.

We will continue to help enrich people's lives by providing sustainable, uninterrupted services, by keeping in mind our mission to foster the compassion for others held within each and every one of us into a strength formed on sincerity that is capable of lifting up society, as reflected in our brand slogan: Making kindness our strength.
